The crucible has many models and specifications, which is not limited by the production scale, batch size and variety of smelting materials. It can be selected arbitrarily, has strong applicability, and can ensure the purity of the melted materials.
1. Place it in a dry place after use and avoid rainwater intrusion; Bake slowly to 500 ℃ before use.
2. The material shall be added according to the capacity of the crucible and shall not be squeezed too tightly to avoid thermal expansion and cracking of the crucible.
3. When taking out the molten metal, it is best to scoop it out with a spoon and use less calipers as far as possible. If calipers and other tools are used, they should be consistent with the shape of the crucible to avoid local excessive stress and shorten the service life.
4. The service life of the crucible is related to the usage. Strong oxidation flame shall not be sprayed directly on the crucible, which will oxidize the crucible raw materials for a short life.
The raw materials for crucible production can be summarized into three types. The first is crystalline natural graphite, the second is plastic refractory clay, and the third is calcined hard kaolin skeleton clinker. Since 2008, high temperature resistant synthetic materials, such as silicon carbide, alumina, Emery and ferrosilicon, have been used as the framework clinker of the crucible. This clinker has a significant effect on improving the product quality of crucible and enhancing the density and mechanical strength of crucible.
